Sterling Silver

To maintain your Silver finish for as long as possible I recommend this type of care:

  •  Silver jewellery can also be prone to tarnishing. This can be easily fixed. I recommend gently rubbing your jewellery with a specialised cleaning cloth to restore the shine

  •  Keep in your Gemma Rose jewellery Box to keep safe from other materials when not wearing

Gold Vermeil

Gold Vermeil is Sterling Silver which has been coated with 2.5 microns of 18k gold plate (which means its super thick and longer lasting!).

Gold Vermeil can last years. However, if worn continuously (especially rings) the gold plate can start to wear away after 6 months. In this instance, I can offer a replating service that will cost a small fee.

To maintain Gold Vermeil finish for as long as possible I recommend this type of care:

  • Remove jewellery when washing your hands, showering or swimming This is especially important for rings, as they suffer wear and tear much more than other jewellery types since we use our hands for everything we do.

  • Put your jewellery on last when getting ready as makeup, perfume, hairspray, and lotions can affect the beauty and shine of your Gold Vermeil

  • Finally keep in your Gemma Rose Jewellery Box to keep safe from other materials when not wearing.
